Operation tips of marine anchor winch

First is preparation. At least three persons are needed for operating marine anchor winch. Make sure the power supply and check the clutch position. Turn on the power.

Second, release the anchor chain. Before releasing the anchor chain, prepare the anchor, that is release the anchor insurance and stopper besides the anchor drum. Use the machine to release the anchor chain with suitable length, then put the brake on the anchor chain, release from clutch. Release the brake, the anchor and chain release quickly, if the speed is too fast, use the brake to adjust timely, and avoid the condition that the anchor winch is off the chain. After finishing dropping anchor, disengage the stopper, tighten the brake and cut off the power.

Third, collect the anchor chain. Close the clutch, release the brake, turn on the stopper, and start to heavy away anchor. If the anchor chain is too tight, the pressure is large, just heavy away and stop, this can avoid overload, trip and damage. After the anchor leaving off the water, heavy away anchor with the slowest speed. When the anchor is recovery, close stopper, release cultch, tighten brake and cut off the power.

Fourth, heavy away anchor with capstan, operators should pay attention to the condition of clutch. The operation of heavy away anchor is the same as anchor chain. After finishing work, turn off the power supply. For heavy away anchor, never do it with enforcement. If it is hard to heavy away anchor, just stop operation.
