The features of different winch couplings
Rigid coupling has simple structure and low price. If the load is stable, rotating speed is stable, relative offset of two axis is minimum, rigid coupling is a good choice.
Starting-safety coupling has overload protection device. It can turn load starting into no-load starting.
Flexible coupling has ability of compensating relative offset of linked axis.
Inelastic flexible coupling has large bearing capacity, but it doesn’t has cushioning performance. It is suitable for low speed, overload and stable speed condition.
