The reason that electric motor doesn’t stop when pushing stop-button
- Operating button is not effective or too wet;
- Operating line is short out or land-ground.
- Main connecting point or auxiliary connecting point of magnetic starter is damaged and jointed.
- Connecting point of intermediate relay can’t be taken apart.
- The position of magnetic start is not correct.
Effective solutions are as following:
- Right the position of magnetic starter, put the handle of magnetic starter on stop-position.
- The feature and damage of single phase operation
Whatever positive start or reverse start, electric motor still has abnormal loud noise, but electric motor doesn’t work. - If the motor has single phase turn, the motor keep original turning direction, the speed decreases obviously, and the motor produces loud noise and heat. If the marine winch is equipped with currency device, the device show zero or large value. Single phase turn can cause damage or accident.
