Common problems of boat winch and how to solve them
The pressure of lubricating pressure gauge doesn’t show, or it is too high or too low. It has six reasons as following: pressure gauge is damaged; suction strainer is blocked; working temperature is low; the overflow valve is damaged; the overflow valve is not adjusted. The solutions are as following: replace or repair pressure gauge; clean suction strainer; heat the lubricating oil; replace transmission chain; replace or repair the overflow valve; adjust the overflow valve.
Pneumatic control system action is not accurate. One reason is that valve is damaged or blocked; connection is not right or the position is not suitable. Just replace or repair valve, analyze the reasons according to pneumatic schematic diagram, check out the problems and exclude one by one.
Bearing temperature is too high. This mainly has three reasons: lubricating oil is not filled in; oil-line is blocked; bearing is wearied seriously. Check whether oil-line is smooth and lubricating condition; check bearing or replace it.
